The Richland County Museum

     The Museum is open to the public May through October, Sunday afternoons from 1:30 to 4:30, except for the following holidays:  Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.  We are also closed the Sunday of the Blueberry Festival and the Sunday of the Heritage Days Festival.  However, if that doesn't work for you, organize a group and come for a guided tour!  Scout groups, church groups, special interest groups, etc., have all enjoyed visiting the Museum. 

       Stumped for a speaker for your next meeting?  Many Museum associates are knowledgable in local history and willing to share that interest. Please call to arrange for a speaker.

         The Museum also has hosted small meetings.  We can provide space for up to 20 participants and will serve a Victorian Tea, if arranged in advance. 

           During the months of November through April, the Museum is open for special programs and events. 

     Admission to the Museum is free to all.  However, we do welcome contributions. 

      Speaker's fees and meeting space are also by contribution.  However, if a Tea is requested, a per-person fee is charged by arrangement.

An elegant Victorian Tea is set in the Music Room.  Cucumber sandwiches, cheese biscuits, fresh fruits, cream scones and shortbread are among the tasty nibbles, accompanied by pots and pots of tea!
